Responsibilities include:

  • Prototyping/Blocking out level with BSP contruction
  • Terrain layout/construction
  • Multiplayer content (capture points etc)
  • Full kismet implementation
  • Static mesh placement
  • Basic/Advanced texturing and lighting
  • Optimizations to achieve desired performance on Xbox 360
  • Identify major landmarks for environment artists
  • Document level concept on wiki and explain the layout and flow of the level during pre-production
  • Campaign implementation through kismet scripting
  • Worked very closely with programming on troubleshooting unknown issues in levels
  • Assisted other level designers with scripting and optimization tricks
  • Assisted environment art team with level art population and lighting
