Mission 2 – Battle For The Sulaco
I was responsible of the level’s development from concept, blockout to finalization. During my time developing this level, I’ve worked very closely with fellow Gearbox designers and artists on a daily basis for feedback, iterations and additional brainstorming for gameplay ideas. Despite of limited resources and time, I’ve used what was available to achieve what I wanted and revised accordingly to feedback and to the direction on the narrative end. In addition to gameplay and scripting, I’ve done the majority of the visuals and lighting in the facehugger sections and several of the engineering areas later in the mission with additional visual passes done by environment artists.
